About Training Source

A team of dedicated clinicians and educators committed to building a more prepared, more capable healthcare workforce.

"Our mission is to equip every healthcare professional — from the newest CNA to the most seasoned intensivist — with the skills, confidence, and credentials to respond decisively when a patient's life depends on them." — Andrea Calloway, RN, CCRN, Founder & Lead Instructor

Built in a Hospital. Designed for Real Life.

Training Source was founded in 2010 by Andrea Calloway, a critical care nurse who recognized a persistent gap in how healthcare workers were being trained for emergencies. Classroom content was often outdated, instructors lacked clinical experience, and busy healthcare workers were left scrambling for certification slots that fit their schedules.

Andrea launched Training Source with a simple premise: certification training should be taught by people who have actually run codes, managed airways under pressure, and cared for critically ill patients — not by instructors who read the same slides year after year.

Starting with a single classroom and a borrowed mannequin, Training Source has grown into one of Central Ohio's most trusted medical training organizations. Today we certify over 2,000 healthcare professionals annually, operate a modern 3,000 sq ft training facility, and partner with more than 50 hospitals, ambulatory care centers, and healthcare systems.

Clinical Expertise First

Every instructor is an active or recently practicing clinician. Theory is reinforced with real case examples from the bedside.

Skills-Based Learning

We follow evidence-based adult learning principles — repetition, immediate feedback, and realistic simulation drive retention.

Accessible Scheduling

Healthcare workers keep irregular hours. Our classes run 7 days a week, with early-morning, evening, and weekend options year-round.

Accountable to Outcomes

We track our pass rates, gather participant feedback after every session, and continuously update content to reflect the latest AHA guidelines.

Meet the Team

Our instructors bring decades of combined clinical experience across emergency medicine, critical care, and prehospital care. They don't just teach the curriculum — they live it.
